Inhaled the bane, hence here I stand,
No falsehood to the void I cater
I tread the path of true-faith hand.
I’ll find the strength beyond my realm
It’ll come to me through fears and lies
And I shall drink it from the grail
The darkness will become my eyes!
It’ll come to change us in our passions,
Revealing cards, proclaiming bitter ends.
Out of the dark, astride black-blooded hellhounds,
The Night will fall, a Lilith’s black embrace.
She’ll grant me with her deadly weapon
Her watchful eye will stretch ecstatic grin
O baneful calamity,
A doom bringer Taninsam,
Come along with the whirling wind!
O mighty Goddess, a tamer of the fire,
Come forth alongside dragon’s cries!
Thy blazing touch, - envenomed with desire
To scorch all living, - Tanin’iver’s disguise!
I crave for thee, relieve my longing
As if thy lips’ succumbing wilt,
O Mother Night, my precious yearning,
Could hiss malicious tunes of wind
The veins of life infected with venom
Pulsate with bane as I’ve unlocked the door,
I am thy scourge, induced with blissful amen
Thou hath bestowed upon my breathless awe!
Come forth, the Angel of Salvation
Thou art the void’s abysmal depths!
Mine eyes are gouged, o sweet damnation!
I’ve reached the edge inhaling death.

The atmosphere of this album is fantastic. Makes you feel like you're knee-deep in the trenches drenched in mud, filth, sweat, and blood. Truly encapsulates the horrors of World War I, and the fact that the lyrics of some of the songs are taken from old war letters really adds to the authenticity.
